I think it's safe to say that 'dead' and 'beautiful' are two adjectives not often used to describe the same thing, unless when referring to fall leaves! So magical. Drove by this park and made an abrupt left turn to take advantage of the photo op. Aside from sketchy driving, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. For some reason I don't get too excited for this holiday, which is confusing because I love eating, turkey is pretty good, and pumpkin pie is my jam. The gluttony of the day usually just leads to a nap and needing to change into stretchy pants. Is there a name for a Thanksgiving version of the Scrooge? I kid. I love seeing family and having a plethora of Filipino food at my disposal, so stretchy pants here I come!

It finally feels like fall and I can feel the holiday spirit slowly creeping up on me. Gluttonous pumpkin pie binges and holiday cups at Starbucks. Which is a weird thing to enjoy considering how little coffee I actually drink. To curb the inevitable stress I would feel around this time next month (aka Christmas shopping crowds- ugh) I plan to implement my very successful strategy of online shopping. Holy cow I’ve been missing out all these years. Shopping is definitely my cardio but pushing through crowds and screaming babies isn’t good for my mental health. Received this Mickey Mouse, if he transformed into a cross, tee courtesy of O-Mighty. It is oh-so-soft and perfect for my no-nonsense, slouchy moods.

I have been a fan of the brand Motel Rocks ever since I laid eyes on their amaze bodysuits and body cons that have girls swooning. Lucky me, the lovely people over at Motel Rocks sent me this awesome piece to add to my dwindling dress collection. Closet purging strikes again! The skirt is slightly sheer- but never fear! There is a built in bodysuit, which means no muss, no fuss. I apologize for all the rhyming. I still love a bit of transparency in clothing probably because it’s not overtly sexy. More like sneaky sexy. And just like little black boots, a girl can’t have too many little black dresses!

My favorite default outfit will forever be shorts that straddle the line of appropriateness and a crop top. I've definitely been asked if all my clothes shrank. Understandable. But when it's so hot, can you blame a girl? The least fabric anything to skin contact the better. Ok I'm rambling. Now let's ramble about my killer top!  The off the shoulder style coupled with the leather look is instant gratification. This particular gem comes courtesy of a new online boutique Gypsum. Beware because you are guaranteed to want everything. Can't wait to wear this top with high waisted flares, skirts, and skinnies. It's just too easy!

I am over the moon excited to be launching my new blog that pays homage to my favorite footwear which keeps me blister free and stomping the streets in style- Little Black Boots! They are as consistent in my every day life as a tube of chapstick- and I never go anywhere without chapstick. Now that my love for boots and lip balm has been made overly clear, let's talk about my awesome tee! Morning Warrior creates amazing print tops that make even this pattern-phobic princess a believer. It was love at first gap tooth sight. And let's not forget the hot ticket item this winter- camo jackets! Scored mine from an Army Navy Store which is crazy because I never get that lucky whilst thrifting. Ever.
