mi vida loca

The other night I watched a movie by the name of "Mi Vida Loca." Intriguing, I know. It's basically a story about cholas in the early 90's living on the mean streets of Echo Park. I've always had a weird fascination with gangs and mobs so it's no surprise that I loved the theme of this movie. Big bangs, thin eyebrows, and dark lined lips- hell ya. So obviously the next step in this series of events would be to go to Echo Park and walk around that same fountain where Mousie told Sad Girl she wanted to kick her ass. Amazing. Next visit I'm going to bring a blanket and a bottle of wine to get real loca.
